Mari Michener Gallery

The Mari Michener Art Gallery is located on the first floor of Michener Library and is open during regular library hours.

It was dedicated October 13, 1995 to honor Mrs. Michener's lifelong interest in the fine arts. She and her husband were avid patrons, benefactors, and collectors of art. The Mari Michener Art Gallery is supported by the Friends of the UNC Libraries, and hosts shows by locally and nationally known artists and often displays the work of alumni, faculty, and staff of the University.
