Abstract

Joint Endeavor is a 15” x 22” mixed media (paper, glue, watercolor) composition. My first thought of this work arose by contemplating the chaos of watercolor medium being amplified by the freedom of mixed media compositions. As I pieced together dissimilar ideas, through pictures, I became unsettled by the undeniable similarity that arose between each fragment of paper. Joint Endeavor illuminates the paradox life, in unity and diversity, and celebrates the individual’s priceless experience of being part of the entire whole.
