The syllabus is often the first point of contact that our students have with us and our course. In this hands-on workshop, you will be taken through a step-by-step process that will allow you to reconsider your syllabus as a tool to support equity and inclusion. You will leave the workshop with an equity-minded syllabus that promotes student motivation and academic success.
This workshop will expand on the tips for creating an inclusive syllabus written by Drs. Susan Keenan and Ginger Fisher (2020), faculty in UNC's School of Biological Sciences.
