Description
Phases of Quarantine is my own personal narrative about attending college during the pandemic and how every day felt like a hurdle to overcome. Ada Applebroog's works surrounding mental health really inspired me to paint my own. I was also interested in working in a style similar to Francis Bacon. His deformed figures really lend themselves to the feeling of struggling. Covid-19 has really made an impact and some days really do feel like the world is collapsing in on itself.
