Abstract
A Class Project Conducted by the Students of AFS 102 "The Black Woman in America."
From the introduction: During spring semester 2005, I taught AFS 102, "The Black Woman in America." While developing the syllabus I decided to present an assignment that would incorporate the class material but also would be more than a paper that would be read and returned. Therefore, I decided that each student would have to interview a Black woman—African American or mixed-race—and submit that work for limited distribution in a compilation.
