Abstract
The intent of this project was to increase the diversity of clients in the UNC Speech-Language Pathology Clinic while simultaneously increasing the clinical training for our graduate students. Specifically, the aim was to increase the number of underserved adult clients with communication challenges that received therapy with speech-language pathology graduate student clinicians who are supervised by certified and licensed speech-language pathologists (supervision is accomplished by both tenure track faculty as well as adjunct faculty). This grant allowed the UNC Speech-Language Pathology Clinic to offer speech-language therapy to these underserved populations, who were unable to pay for these services.
