The Bear Counseling Collective

Publication Ethics Statement

The Bear Counseling Collective is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice in academic publishing. As a student-run, peer-reviewed journal, we prioritize integrity, respect, and responsibility in every stage of the publication process. We expect all authors, reviewers, and editors to adhere to principles of honesty, transparency, and academic rigor. Submissions must represent original work that has not been published elsewhere and must include proper citation of all sources and ideas. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable scholarly environment. Research submitted to the journal should demonstrate ethical consideration for human and non-human participants. Editors and reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based solely on their scholarly merit, relevance, and contribution to the field, without regard to the author’s identity, background, or institutional affiliation. Conflicts of interest must be disclosed and managed transparently. Through upholding these commitments, The Bear Counseling Collective seeks to cultivate a culture of integrity, collaboration, and respect in student scholarship and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of psychological knowledge.
