Description

1955 correspondence from Great Sand Dunes Supt. Harold F. Schaafsma congratulating Dr. Fred Plachy on his appointment as head of the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Supt Schaafsma offered the assistance of the National Park Service and expressed "ever-increasing" need by the department for "sincere ambitious men of college calibre."
