Date Created

Abstract
"The Work" is an innovative Open Educational Resource (OER) designed for diversity training in various settings, including workplaces, educational institutions, and communities. This self-paced, self-directed tool addresses the limitations of traditional diversity seminars by providing flexible, accessible, and cost-free learning opportunities. Employing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, "The Work" offers multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression, allowing learners to customize their experience based on individual needs, interests, and circumstances. This approach enables participants to engage with the material in personally meaningful ways, overcoming barriers such as time constraints, geographical limitations, or institutional restrictions. By providing a versatile platform for continuous learning and reflection on diversity topics, "The Work" aims to foster deeper understanding and better service to colleagues, clients, students, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
