Abstract
This presentation focuses on the benefits of re-thinking the way we use the domestic landscape, including lawn space, patios, and balconies, to improve the quality of life for ourselves and others, as well as to support the wide variety of pollinators in Northern Colorado. Framed around the City of Greeley’s Life After Lawn grant program, the presentation includes plant recommendations, irrigation techniques, soil health, and simple steps you can take to be hospitable to beneficial insects. Attendees will come away with a host of resources to guide planning for their own spaces, no matter how large or small .
