Abstract
Trusted relationships allow for informal, fluid, nimble, responsive, collaborative work. When librarians in a medium-sized city collaborate to better support their shared patrons, great things happen! While academic and public library missions and means are different, their ultimate goals are often compatible; pursuing them collaboratively can be rewarding, cost-effective, even fun! Learn about the positive and negative outcomes of nearly ten years of neighborly collaboration and partnership in northern Colorado, and the innovative assessment methods developed to sustain these relationships.
