Welcome UNC doctoral students! The Dissertation Prep & Writing Intensive is designed to encourage you to begin, continue, or complete the writing of your proposal, dissertation, or capstone. Writing is hard work and it can leave you feeling isolated--but you are not alone. You are part of a support network that includes faculty, university services, and other doctoral students who can empathize with the obstacles and issues of dissertation authorship. These workshops help you draw on this reservoir of expertise, experience, and UNC resources to complete you dissertation.
Material from past workshops can be mixed and matched to create your own customized Dissertation Prep & Writing Intensive. Additionally, a website with a Writing Toolkit, Meet Your Librarian information, and People to Know is available at http://libguides.unco.edu/WritingIntensive/home.
The Dissertation Prep & Writing Intensive is sponsored by the University Libraries and the Graduate School.
