Dissertation Prep Workshops were designed to encourage doctoral students to begin, continue, or complete the writing of a proposal, dissertation, or capstone. Writing is hard work and it can leave you feeling isolated--but you are not alone. You are part of a support network that includes faculty, university services, and other doctoral students who empathize with the obstacles and issues of dissertation authorship. These workshops help you draw on this reservoir of expertise, experience, and UNC resources to complete you dissertation.
Dissertation Prep Workshops ran from 2018 to 2022 and were sponsored by the University Libraries and the Graduate School. Materials from past in-person and virtual workshops are available in this collection. The series was rebranded as Bear GRADS in 2023, available at https://digscholarship.unco.edu/beargrads/.
