Abstract
Faculty are certainly the experts in teaching strategies and new pedagogy. This forum will focus on the outcomes of a qualitative descriptive study conducted by Dr. Karen Hessler over the last year and a half, focused on student perceptions of the flipped classroom. Students in the study experienced both straight lecture and Dr. Hessler’s flipped pedagogy in the same class during the same semester. This experience has provided them with a unique real-time view of both pedagogies. As such, they are in a perfect position to provide valuable insight and feedback about these teaching strategies from the perspective of the student audience. What you hear may surprise you!
