Abstract
Can you meet learning outcomes with a fully asynchronous course? Yes, you can! Asynchronous learning provides flexibility for both you and your students without sacrificing learning. Join a panel of three UNC faculty who successfully teach completely asynchronous online courses. Drs. Sarah Cornish, Molly Jameson, and Kathie Records will discuss why they choose to teach online without live class sessions, share strategies for building community and engaging students in course material, and share their best practices for asynchronous online teaching. This panel will be helpful for both new and experienced online educators.
