Abstract
Community engaged learning is defined as learning that integrates academic content into students’ engagement with the community in and out of the classroom. The Office of Engagement invites you to this opportunity for professional development devoted to curriculum and pedagogy. Participants will learn about the basic tenets for a course to be designated CEL, including:
- mutual benefit for students and communities,
- assessment techniques,
- and issues of impact.
