Abstract
Building community is crucial for student academic success. Today this is even more crucial since student aren't interacting in the physical classroom the same way as before the pandemic. This presentation will discuss four tenets of community building – Visibility, Availability, Communication, and Interaction. All of the strategies can be applied to online, face-to-face, and hybrid course models as a way to use online tools to support students.
