Description
Don Johnson of the Tlingit Nation escorts a Bear Clan Totem off a ferry at Angoon, Alaska. The totem, known for decades as "Totem Teddy" by the students of the University of Northern Colorado, was returning home 94 years after it disappeared from Angoon. The Tlingit village was leveled by the U.S. Navy in 1882 after an alleged cultural misunderstanding.
