Information literacy is the ability to “recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information,” according to the American Library Association. These skills are vital in a world in which all people are inundated – and sometimes overwhelmed – by the resources available to them.
The materials in this collection are intended to support those goals, and include a variety of activities, assessments, handouts, lesson plans, and other materials to teach these skills.
