Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching, learning, and research materials in any medium – digital or otherwise – that are released under an open license (often a Creative Commons license) that permits no-cost access, use, adaptation, and redistribution by others with no or limited restrictions. OER benefit both students and instructors and provide a pathway to greater equity in higher education.
Digital UNC’s OER collection includes a variety of OER that were adopted, adapted, and created by UNC faculty and instructors.
A portion of these materials were made possible through grant funding from the Colorado Department of Higher Education.
