Abstract

This session will debunk maladaptive beliefs about the writing process. Students will learn new habits and techniques that nurture productivity and discourage perfectionism. These positive processes include the following: prewriting activities such as outlining, clustering, and listing; free-writing; rearrangement of the immediate environment; creating a regimen; practicing moderation; and sharing with peers to make writing a socially-skilled act.

This presentation was Part 1 of the session "Writing Process & Publishing Venues."
